Conditioning for the 2013 Season to begin on Monday, 9/17.
When: Monday through Thursday at 4pm. Where: the DHS track. Who: All new and returning DHS track and field athletes (not involved in a fall DHS sport) are invited and encouraged to attend these sessions. Purpose: strength, mechanics, fitness base and event-specific technique.

3/16 "The Battle for the Spade" DHS vs. Woodland - DHS defends the Spade! Wow - wet, windy weather! Congrats to the athletes who managed themselves appropriately in spite of the nast conditions. Sacramento State High School Track Classic
Great first meet of the year - Nick Denton, 1st in the disc and 3rd in the shot; Matt Austin, 2nd in the triple; Daniel Gantar, 3rd in the vault; Paul Mohr, 2nd in the 800; Sophie Meads, 1st in the 1500; Jack Scranton, 1st in the 1500. Our policy regarding rain and practice: We practice rain or shine - If it's sunny, we meet at the track. If it's raining, we meet under the overhang of the gymnasium.
2011 SJS Champions Patches If you are a varsity boy who competed on the 2011 SJS championship team, we are ordering patches. We will place the order on Friday, 1/27. If you are interested, please send me an email selliott@djusd.net. Patches cost $12.50.
