SJS Masters Meet

Way to go, Blue Devils!  We qualified 10 athletes to the State Meet.

Tazio: 2nd in the shot and 2nd in the discus.  His discus mark of 170'7" is a new school record!

Abby: 1st place in the triple jump!

Sondre: 1st place in the pole vault and 1st place in the 110 hurdles.  Sondre ran a blazing fast 14.15 in the 110 hurdles.  This is a huge school record and makes him one of the favorites in the State Meet.

Simen: 2nd place in the pole vault!

Hannah: 4th in the high jump, but she cleared 5'4", which is the at-large qualifier.  Incidentally, her clearance at 5'4" would have cleared 5'5" or 5'6".

Shay: 3rd in the high jump.  Her mark of 5'6" ties her for the school record with her teammate Tiya.

Tiya: 1st in the high jump.  She jumped 5'6" again, equaling her record mark.

Brooke: 2nd in the 100m and 2nd in the 200m!

Jupa: 1st place in the 800m!

Olivia: 1st place in the 1600m.  Her mark of 4:42.71 is a new DHS school record.  Additionally, this mark is number one in the US for high school students.  Wow!
