I want to participate in upcoming June meets: If you would like to participate in any of the upcoming June meets please email Coach Elliott firstname.lastname@example.org and Coach Tim email@example.com, so that we can discuss training and meet entries. We will need to resume our training this week. These meets have performance standards, so we can’t promise your participation. We will certainly enter you though.
I want to work on my track and field skills, but I don’t want to participate in these meets: Step 1: We strongly suggest that you take the next two weeks off. Rest your bodies! We are going to get our club track program “Davis Community Track and Field Club” back up and running this summer. Yes! The website, which is currently being rebuilt, will be up and running in the next day or two. www.dctfc.com. We will have programs specifically for high school athletes who want to develop their craft. After you recover for two weeks, we can get back to work hurdling, jumping, vaulting, etc. Our summer program will also offer cross country preparation to help you get ready for the fall xc season.
I’m tired. I’m ready to be done: It’s all good! Do other stuff. Play other sports. As we head into the 2021/22 season, we will have programs in place to help us prepare.
